Oven Racks
Cleanthe rackswith an abrasive cleanseror
scouring pad.After cleaning,rinsethe racks
with clean water and drg with a clean cloth.
Porcelain Oven Interior
With proper care,the pbrcelainenamel
interior wil! retain its attractive finish for mang
gears.
Soapand water will normallg do the job.
Heavg.spatteringor spilloversmag require
cleaning with a mild abrasivecleanser.
Soap-flied scouring pads mag also be used.
Donot allow food spillswith a high sugar or
acid content (suchas tomatoes, sauerkraut
fruitjuices or pie filling)to remain on the
surface.Thegmag cause dull spots even
after cleaning.
Householdammonia mag make the
€leaningjob easier.Place1/2 Cupammonia
in a shallow glass pan and leave ina cold
oven overnight.The ammonia fumes will
help loosenthe burned-on grease and food.
When necessarg, gou mag use a commercial
oven cleaner. Follow the package directions.
Cautions about usingsprag-on oven
cleaners:
Becareful wherethe oven cleaner is
sprayed.
,_ Donot sprag oven cleaneron the electrical
controls and switches(on some models)
becauseit could cause a short circuitand
result in sparking or:fire.
Do not allow a film from the cleanerto
remain on the temperature sensing-bulb
it could cause the oven to heat improperlg.

Carefullgwipe the bulb clean after each
ovencleaning,being careful not to move
the bulb as a change in its position could
affect how the oven bakes.
Do not sprag ang oven cleaneron the
outside ovendoor,handlesor ang exterior
surfaceof the oven, cabinet or painted
surfaces.The cleanercan damage these
surfaces,
