Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you
do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals:
work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equip-
ment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter
out microscopic particles.
• Avoid prolonged
contact with dust from power sanding,
sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activities.
Wear protective
clothing and wash exposed areas with soap
and water. Allowing dust to get into your mouth, eyes, or lay on the
skin may promote absorption of harmful chemicals.

Features
SWITCH
The tool is controlled by a trigger switch (A). A lock-on button (B)
provides increased comfort in extended use applications.
ROTATING REAR HANDLE (D28499 ONLY)
The rear handle can be positioned 30° , 60 °, and 90° left and right
of center position.
ROTATING GEAR CASE (D28474, D28493, D28494, D28497)
For applications
in which a tool will be dedicated for uses in edge
grinding and finishing work, the gear case may be rotated 90 ° left
or right of its original position. See page 8 for instructions
on
rotating the gear case.
