to tile water supply. If using coppm; be sure both
ends of tile tubing are cut square.
To determine
how much robing you need: measure
tile distance
flom the water valve on tlle back of the
refiigerator
to tlle water supply pipe. Be sure there is
sufficient extra tubing to allow tile refligerator
to move
out flom tile wall after installation.

water line has a flared
fitting
at the end,
you will need
an adapter
(available

plumbing
supply
stores)
to connect
the water line to
tile refligerator
OR you can cut off tlle flared
fitting
with a tube cutter
and
then
use a compression
fitting.
Do not cut formed
end fiom

SmartConnect
TM

robing.
• Shutoff valve to connect
to tile cold water line.
Tile shutoff valve should have a water inlet with a
minimum
inside diameter
of 5/32" at tile point of
connection
to tile COLD WATER LINE. Saddle-type
shutoff valves are included
in many water supply Mrs.
Before purchasing,
make sure a saddle-type
vane
complies with your local plumbing
codes. Install the
shutoff vane on the nearest flequent/y
used drinking
water line.
