CAUTION: KEEP HANDS AND FEET CLEAR OF
ALL MOVING PARTS.
1. Place feet on foot rests.
2. Refer to Fig. 9. Turn key in ignition switch
clockwise to "on" position.
3. Grasp recoil starter handle and pull sharply.
Refer to Fig. 10. Do NOT allow starter rope
to snap back. Rewind sfowly keeping hold of
the starter bangle at all times.
4. After engine starts, move throttle lever to fast
position; refer to Fig, 8.
ELECTRIC MODEL
CAUTION: KEEP HANDS AND FEET CLEAR OF
ALL MOVING PARTS.
1.
Place feet on foot rests.
2. Refer to Fig. 9. Turn key in ignition switch
c_ockwise to engage starter. When engine
starts, release key and move throttIe {ever,
refer to Fig. 8, to fast position.
CAUTION: Do
not run starter continuously for
more than 30 seconds at a time.
If after severaI attempts, engine does not start,
move throttle lever to
FAST
position. Wait for
two minutes and try again.
FOR ALL MODELS
1, Engine speed between FAST and SLOW posi-
tions may be varied as desired.
2. To STOP engine, turn key in counterclockwise
direction to "off" position.
3. Key should be removed when tractor is not in
operation so that chitdren cannot start tractor.
