For one year from the date of purchase, when tMs Craftsman Generator is maintained and operated according
to the instructions in the owner's manual, Sears will repair, free of charge, any defect in materiai and workman-
ship
if this generator is used for commercial purposes, this walranty applies lor only 90 days from the date of pur.-
chase If [his Generator is used for rental purposes, this warranty applies for only 30 days after date of pur.-
chase
This warranty does not cover:
° Expendable items such as spark plugs and air filters, whictq become worn during normal use
o Repairs necessary because of operator abuse or negligence, including failure to maintain the equipment accord..

building m' enclosure including the generatm" compartment of a recreational vehicle (RV). Fire of an

nected to an approved earth ground Local electricai codes
may also require proper grounding of the generator
Consult with a local electrician for grounding requirements
in your area.
Use a ground fault circuit interrupter it1any damp or highly
conductive area (such as metal decking or steel work)
Do riot _.tseany worn, bare, frayed or otherwise damaged
electrical cord sets with the generator. Using any defective
cord set may result in electrical shock or damage to equip-
ment and!or property.
Operate generator only on level surfaces and where, it will
not be exposed to excessive moisture, dirt, dust or co_ro-
siva vapors,
