Fortwo (2) years from the date of purchase,if this CraftsmanRiding Equipmentis
maintained,lubricatedand tuned up accordingto the instructions in the owner'smanual,
Searswill repair or replacefree of charge any parts that are foundto be defectivein
materialor workmanshipaccordingto the guidelinesof coveragelisted below.Searswill
also providefree labor for these applicablewarrantedparts for the two full years.During
the first 30 days of purchase,there will be no charges to servicethe productat your
homefor issuescoveredby this warranty.(See exclusionsbelow). Foryour conve-
nience, IN HOMEwarrantyservicewill still be availableafterthe first 30 days of pur-
chase,but a trip chargewill apply.This chargewill be waived if the Craftsmanproductis
droppedoff at an authorizedSears location.Forthe nearestauthorizedSears location,
pleasecall 1-800-4-MY-HOME®.This warrantyappliesonly while this productis within
the United States.
This Warrantydoes not cover:
• Expendableitemswhich becomeworn during normal use, includingbut not limitedto
blades,spark plugs,air cleaners,belts, andoil filters.
• Standard MaintenanceServicing,oil changes, or tune-ups
• Tire replacementor repair caused by puncturesfrom outside objects,such as nails,
thorns, stumps,or glass.
• Repairs necessarybecauseof operatorabuse,including but not limited to, damage
caused by towing objectsbeyondthe capabilityof the riding equipment,impacting
objectsthat bend the frame or crankshaft,or over-speedingthe engine.
• Repairs necessarybecauseof operator negligence,includingbut not limitedto, elec-
trical and mechanicaldamage caused by improperstorage,failure to use the proper
grade and amountof engineoil, failure to keepthe deck clearof flammabledebris,
or failure to maintainthe equipmentaccordingto the instructionscontainedin the
owner'smanual.
• Engine (fuel system)cleaningor repairs caused by fuel determinedto be contami-
natedor oxidized(stale). In general,fuel should be usedwithin 30 days of its pur-
chasedate.
• Normal deteriorationandwear of the exteriorfinishes,or productlabel replacement.
• Ridingequipmentusedfor commercialor rental purposes.
LIMITEDWARRANTYON BATTERY
For ninety(90) days from date of purchase,if any battery includedwith this riding equip-
ment provesdefectivein material or workmanshipand our testing determinesthe battery
will not hold a charge,Searswill replacethe battery at no charge. Duringthe first 30
days of purchase,there will be no chargesto replace the battery at your HOME. After
the first 30 days, for your convenience,IN-HOMEwarrantyservicewill still be avail-
able but a trip chargewill apply. This chargewill be waived if the Craftsmanproduct is
droppedoff at an authorizedSears location. Forthe nearestauthorizedSears location,

This battery warranty applies only while this product is within the United States.
