MOWER
ADJUSTMENT
The .mower _s adjusted
by moving
the cutler
bar toward
the reel. The cutler bar
knife
is odiusted
toward
the reeJ by means of 4 adjusting
screws. Each end of the cutter
bar
adiusis
separately.
The 2 adjusting
screws at each
end
push fn opposite
dlrections
about the cutter bar bol! which acts as an axis.
Before
tightening
one adjusting
screw, be sure lo loosen the opposing
adjusting
screw
an equivalent
amount.
When
the proper
adiustmeni
has been
reached,
be sure
to
tighten
all adjusting
screws equally
so that the cutter
bar
_s _rnmovoble.
When
the
mower
_s properly
adjusted
it will shear
paper
along
_he entire
length
at the culler
bar blode
and yel tl'_e movemenl
of the reel agamsi
lhe cutler
bar will be (ree and
unresh ,cled.
After
many
seasons
of
use
your
mower
may
need
resharpenmg.
We
recommend
that
you
contact
your
