Do not remove any parts from the cooktopuntilthey havecompletelycooledand are safe to handle.
IMPORTANT
Do not usesprayoven cleanerson thecooktop.
The cooktop is designed to make cleaning easier. Because the gas burner are sealed,
cleanups are easy when spiltovers are cleaned up immediately.
Cleaning
the grates
o Forpropergas flow and ignitionof the burners-- DO NOTallow spills,food, cleaningagents or any
othermaterial to enter the gas orificeopening.
o The cooktopis notremoval_e.Do notattemptto rernoveor liftthe cooktop.
CAUTION
• Toavoidpossibleburnsuse carewhencleaningthe cooktop.DO NOT attemptto cleanthecooktop
wheneverthe cooktopor burner headsare still hot.
• Toavoidpossibleburns DONOT attemptanyof the fdlowing cleaninginstructionsprovidedbeforeturning
OFF all of thesurfaceburnersand allow them to cool.
• Toavoidpossibleburns DONOT attemptto operatethe surfaceburnerswithoutthe burnercaps.
The burner grates are dishwasher safe and may be cleaned in the dishwasher. Remove
any excessive soils before placing in the dishwasher.
Your appliance is shipped with the burner heads and burner caps in the correct locations.
Before using your gas appliance be sure to:
• Follow installation instructions before operating.
• Remove all packing tape from cooktop area.
