Oki C7300 Replacement Instructions

Caution! The fuser unit (at the
back of the printer) may be
HOT. Let it cool down before
attempting to replace the trans-
fer belt.
1.Turn off the printer.
2. Pull up on the handle and lift
the cover.
3. Lift out the drum/toner
cradle.
4. Press back on the lock lever
(circled) and, while holding
the lock lever, lift the end of

the transfer belt unit up by
the blue handle (squared).
5. Grasp both handles and lift
the transfer belt unit out of
the printer. Discard in
accordance with local
regulations.
Caution! Make sure the blue
lock levers at either end of the
fuser have snapped back lock-
ing the fuser unit in place. If
not, pull them toward the front
of the printer.
6. Unpack the new transfer belt
unit.
Caution! Be careful to avoid
touching the shiny black sur-
face of the transfer belt.
7. Hold the transfer belt by the
handles and lower it into the
printer, carefully aligning the
pins at the front of the belt
into the slots at the front of
the printer.
8. Using the blue handle, firmly
push the unit into place until
it clicks. If necessary, pull
the blue lock lever (circled)
toward the front of the
printer to lock the transfer
belt into place.
9. Place the drum/toner cradle
back into the printer.
10.Close the cover and turn on
the printer.
