Copy a file to the new device again:
# cp /filename file_name.back2
Example
To copy the same file again, enter:
cp /vmunix vmunix.back2

List the files in the current directory:
Example
# ls –l
The vmunix.back1 and vmunix.back2 files should be shown.
6.
Delete the files you copied:
# rm file_name
Example
To remove the file.
vmunix.back1
