Shooting (P, S, A, M)
Shutter-releasedisabled:
• Non-CPU lens is attached: rotate camera mode dial to M (_ 169).
• Mode dial rotated to Safter shutter speed of"Bulb" or"Time" selected in mode M: choose
new shutter speed (_ 55).
Fullrange of shutterspeedsnotavailable:
• Flash in use (_ 50).
• When On is selected for Movie settings > Manual movie settings in the shooting menu,
the range of available shutter speed varies with the frame rate (_ 91).
Colors areunnatural:
• Adjust white balance to match light source (_ 69).
• Adjust Set Picture Control settings (_ 76).
Cannot measurewhite balance:Subject is too dark or too bright (_ 73i ..............................................................................

automatically selected after photograph is taken (_ 125).
"Tall" (portrait) orientation photosare displayedin "wide" (landscape)orientation:
• Select On for Rotate tall (_ 126).
• Photo was taken with Off selected for Auto image rotation (_ 138).
• Photo is displayed in image review (_ 126).
• Camera was pointed up or down when photo was taken (_ 138).
Cannot delete picture:
• Picture is protected: remove protection (_ 105).
• Memory card is locked (_ 18).
Cannot retouchpicture: Photo can not be further edited with this camera (_ 149).
