Calculating
the Length of the Final Movie
The total number of frames in the final movie
Length recorded/
can be calculated by dividing
the shooting
time
maximum
length
by the interval and rounding
up. The length of
the final movie can then be calculated by diving
the number of shots by the frame rate selected
for Movie settings > Frame size/frame
rate. A
48 frame movie recorded
at 1920 x 1080; 24
fps, for example, will be about two seconds long.

During Shooting
During time-lapse
photography,
a _r_ icon will

blink and the time-lapse
recording
indicator
will
be displayed
in the control
panel. The time
remaining
(in hours and minutes) appears
in the
shutter-speed
display immediately
before each
frame is recorded.
At other times, the time remaining
can be viewed by
pressing the shutter-release
button
halfway. Regardless of the option
selected for Custom Setting c2 (Auto meter-off
delay, _ 291 ), the
exposure
meters will not turn off during
shooting.
To view current time-lapse
photography
settings,
press the MENU button
between
shots.
While time-lapse
photography
is in progress, the
time-lapse
photography
menu will show the
interval
and the time remaining.
These settings
can not be changed while time-lapse
photography
is in progress, nor can pictures
be
played back or other menu settings adjusted.
