Selecting Nikon Picture Controls
The camera offers four preset Nikon Picture Controls. Choose a
Picture Control according to the subject or type of scene.
Description
Standard processing for balanced results.
[]SO Standard
Recommended for most situations.
Minimal processing for natural results. Choose for
[]NL Neutral photographs that will later be extensively
_rocessed or retouched.
Pictures are enhanced for a vivid, photoprint effect.
_Vl Vivid Choose for photographs that emphasize primary
colors.
BMO Monochrome Take monochrome photographs.

1 Select [Set Picture Control].
In the shooting menu (pg. 254),
highlight [Set Picture Control]
and press I_.

Select a Picture Control.
Highlight the desired Picture
Control and press @.
