Do not allow any insecticide or volatile substance to
get on the 3D Conversion Lens if they are used in
the surrounding area.
≥ Failure to observe this may result in deformation or
the coating peeling off.
Do not use solvents such as benzine, thinner,
alcohol, etc., for cleaning.
≥ Solvents may cause discoloration or damage.
≥ Do not touch or contaminate the surface of the
protective panel. Blow any dust off using a
commercially available blower brush and wipe gently
with a dry soft cloth if contaminated.
≥ Do not use any kitchen detergent or chemical treated
wipes.
When requesting a repair for the 3D Conversion
Lens, request a repair for the video camera as well,
as the cause of the problem may be in the video
camera.
∫ About 3D recording
Attach the 3D Conversion Lens securely. It must not
be used with an insecure attachment.
Be sure to perform the convergence adjustments
before use. Recording with a misaligned lens may
lead to eye fatigue or discomfort. The lens should
be aligned each time it is re-attached to the
camcorder body.
With the 3D Conversion Lens attached, do not
record a subject at less than the minimum focus
distance. Only record subjects that are beyond
1.2 m (3.9 feet).
≥ The 3D effects may be more pronounced, and
therefore cause tiredness or discomfort.
≥ The minimum focus distance is approx. 1.2 m
(3.9 feet).
When recording with the 3D Conversion Lens
attached, be careful not to shake the video camera.
≥ Tiredness or discomfort may result if the shake is
pronounced, due to riding in a vehicle or walking etc.
≥ When moving the video camera as you record, move
it slowly.
≥ We recommend using a tripod.
