Programme Search
The programme search feature automatically finds
the beginning of a number of previously recorded
scenes. Up to IO different scenes can be found on
one taoe.

Press the MENU button until BI
appears on the monitor.
Press the SEARCH button
(w).
The
VIEWCAM enters the Programme
Search mode. "PROG. SEARCH" is
displayed on the monitor, and one of or
both the "REW" and "FF" indicators will
start flashing.
To cancel, press the SEARCH button
again.
IPROG. SEARCH 1
4 Press the REW (4) (or FF [m])
button. The tape rewinds (or fast
forwards) to the beginning of a scene
immediately before (or after) the current
tape position; playback then starts
automatically.
The button indicators automatically
disappear after about 10 seconds.
To continue searching, press the REW
(or FF) button while its indicator is still
displayed.
Notes:
l
Use this feature when the tape is stopped or
being played back.
l
This function finds the beginning of the scene
immediately before or after the current tape
position, stopping at every scene. It is not pos-
sible to skip a scene.
l
This function cannot spot recordings that are
shorter than 10 seconds in length.
l
In steps 3 and 5. if the tape is at a point ahead of
the most recent (or before the oldest) recording,
only the "REW" (or "FF") indicator will flash, and
the "FF" (or "REW") indicator will not appear.
l
This feature does not function if no recording has
been made since the cassette was loaded, if the
cassette has been removed after the recordings
were made, or if the power source has been
interrupted.
