Charging
the battery
(Fig.2)
The battery charger provided
matches the Lithium-ion
battery
installed in the tool. Do not use
any other battery charger.
The Lithium-ion
battery
is protected
against deep
discharging.
When the battery is
empty, the tool is switched
off by
a protective
circuit. The blade no
longer moves.
1. Attach the charger cord to
the socket.
2. Plug charger into any 120V~60Hz
outlet. Your tool is now charging. The
charging indicator
remains red lit.
3. The battery-charging
indicator
lights up red to indicate the charging procedure.
The battery is fully charged as soon as the battery charge indicator lights up
green.
NOTE: This charger can be used only with a 60Hz, 115-120V AC circuit.
4. When recharging,
the tool will require approximately
3-5 hours to reach full
capacity. The tool will not overcharge,
and can be left on charge indefinitely
throughout
the cutting season.
Continuous
charging
may shorten overall
battery life slightly, but it will not diminish the running time per charge.
