GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FORPOWER TOOLS
1) KNOWYOUR POWERTOOL

tions and limitations as well as the specific potential

2) GROUNDALLTOOLS(UNLESSDOUBLE INSU-
LATED)
If tool is equippedwith an approved 3-conductor cord
and a 3-prong grounding type plug, it shouldbe
plugged into a three hole electricalreceptacle, if
adapter is used to accommodate a two-prong recep-
tacle, the adapterwire must be attachedto known
ground, (usually the screw securingreceptacle cover
plate). Never remove third prong. Neverconnect green
ground wire to a terminal.

ing is dusty,and ear protectors (plugsor muffs)during
extended periods of operation.

Use clamps or a vise to hold work when practical, It's
saferthan using your hand andfrees both handsto
operatetool.
14) DONOTOVERREACH
Keepproper footing and balanceat all times.
15) MAINTAINTOOLSWITH CARE
Keeptools sharpandcleanfor best andsafestperfor-
mance.Followinstructions for lubricating andchanging
accessories.
16) DISCONNECT TOOLSBEFORE SERVICING
-when changingaccessories suchas blades, bits,
cutters,etc,
