Note:
Actual tests are printed in color.
In the check pattern, if you find that segments are still missing
from the test lines, you may need to repeat the head cleaning
function and print the nozzle check pattern again.
If print quality does not improve even after repeating this
procedure several times, contact your dealer.

Aligning the Print Heads

You can align the print heads using the Print Head Alignment
utility in the printer software.
Note:
Do not start the Print Head Alignment utility while printing is in
progress. Doing so may smudge your printout.
Alignment pattern printing requires 1.5 m roll paper.
Follow the steps below:
1. Make sure the printer is turned on, and the EPSON special
roll paper you plan to use is loaded in the printer. (24 inch roll
paper is recommended.)
Note:
If you plan to use paper other than EPSON special paper, you may
need to align the print heads using the SelecType settings. See
"SelecType Settings" in the Online Guide.
