Thesawhastwo settings:

.) Straight cutting in wood (figure D1).
In this cutting mode, the straight cutting
guide is projected under the shoe and rides
in the saw's cutting path to keep the saw
straight.
Blade orbital action is on.
NOTICE: Check alignment of straight cutting
guide before each use.
2.) Curved or straight cutting in all other
materials (wood, metal, pvc, etc. (figure D2))
In this mode, the guide is retracted and the
blade--orbital action is off.
CHANGING THE SMART SELECT DIAL (FIGURE E)

Turn off and unplug the tool
before making any adjustments or

- To change the dial, grasp and turn as
shown.
- As the dial is turned, the shoe position
relative to the saw wilt adjust.
