RE-RECORDING
(TAPE DUPLICATION)-
USING THE SYNCHRO
EDIT FEATURE
With only the PAUSE Button on the editing VCR, you can control two table-type
VCRs, one Movie, or a combination of these,
when you use their Synchro Edit jacks to copy a tape. The SYNCHRO
EDIT feature starts both the source and editing units
together
with the press of one button
and pauses
an ongoing playback
and recording.

On The Source
Unit
1) Insert the master
tape into the Movie or the VCR.
2) Press PAUSE/STILL
where you want to start the playback
of the master
recording
to copy it.
The Source
unit is now in PLAY/PAUSE.
On The Editing
Unit
3) Insert the blank tape (or one you want to record over) into
the Moyie or the VCR.
4) Press PAUSE/STILL
where
you want recording
to begin
to make the copy of the master tape.
The Editing
unit is now in PLAY/PAUSE.
5) Press the PLAY and REC Buttons
together.
The unit is
now in RECORD/PAUSE.
The SYNCHRO EDIT feature simultaneously releases the Pause mode on both units, so playback and recording begin at the
same time.
TO SYNCHRO EDIT
6) On the Editing unit, press PAUSE to begin the re-recording (both units begin operation).
7) Press PAUSE on the Editing unit at the end of the recorded sequence (the source unit goes into PLAY/PAUSE).
8) Press the STOP Button on each VCR to stop Dubbing after completion.

Dubbing from any VHS recorder
to another is simple
and can be done using the connections and steps shown below.
