Place the camcorder on a flat surface or use a tripod
Try placing the can-lcorder on a table top o1"any other fiat surf_lce of suitable height. If you
have a tripod for a still camera, you can also use it with the camcocder. When attaching a
non Sony tripod, make sure that the length of the tripod screw is less than 9/32 inch
(6.5 ram). Otherwise, you cannot attach the tripod securely and the screw may damage the
canlcoFder.
Cautions on the LCD panel and on the viewfinder
• Do not pick up the camcorder by tile viewfinder
or the LCD paneh [d]
• Do not place tile camcorder so as to point tile viewfinder or tile LCD panel toward tile
sun. The inside of the viewfindec or the LCD panel may be damaged. Be carefhl when
placing the camcorder trader stmlight or by a window. [el
