2 insert the supplied CD-ROM (SonicStage Ver.l.5) into the CD-ROM drive.
3 When lhe installation window 3ppears, click [Exit] to cancel 1he installation.
4 Right-click 1he start menu and start up Explorer.
5 Select [SSI5E] on the CD-ROM drive, and then click [Edit] -[Select All].
6 Click [Edit]-[Copy to Folder] (or [Edit]-[Copy]) 1o copy all files Io |he lblder thal you
crealed in slep I.
7 Remove the CD-ROM from tbe CD-ROM drive, open lhe folder that was copied to 1he
hard disk and double-click [setltp.exe].
8 When 1he installation window appears, follow the displayed instructions 1o install
[SonicStage 1.5].
The installation may be done by installing the sot_ware from [Start]-[Run].
If check-out (check-in) was not successful
• Was the battery power sufficient?
lflhe battery becomes exhausted during a check-out (or check-in), 1he check-out (or
check-in) will not be completed, in lhis case, replace the dry battery wilh a new one and
try again.
• IS the surrounding temperature too low?
During a check-out (or check-in), make sure lhe surrounding temperature is +5 ° C
(+41° F) or higher. Iflhe temperature is low, 1he recorder's operation will become slow
because of the nature of the battery.
