Setting the Display Language
The camera has a built-in date/time battery (backup battery) that allows the
date/time settings to be retained for about three weeks after the battery pack
has been removed.
By inserting a charged battery or connecting an AC adapter kit (sotd
separately, p. 39) the date/time battery can be charged in about 4 hours even if
the camera is not turned on.
If the date/time battery is depleted, the Date/Time menu will appear when you
turn the camera on. Follow the steps on p. 20 to set the date and time.
You can change the language that displays on the screen.

Press the DE] button.
L) Display the settings screen.
........................... Touch and hold
MENU.
The settings screen will appear.
_t_ Set the display Ranguage.
Touch a display language, then touch _:).
Once the display language has been set,
the settings screen will close.
When there are images on the memory card, touch FU NC. at the bottom reft of the
screen to display MENU.
