Preparing for Live View Shooting *

During Live View shooting, do not point the camera toward the sun. The
sun's heat can aamage me camera's internal componen[s.
Live View shooting will disable a few Custom Function settings. (p. 153)
Under low light or bright lign[ conaluons, the Live View image might no[
reflect the brightness ot the captured image.
If the light source within the image changes, the screen might flicker. If
this happens, s[op the Live View shooting, men resume LJ_a View
shooting under tne actual light source to be usea.
During Live View image display, if you point the camera in a alfferent
direction _tm_ght throw off the correct bngn[ness momentanJy ana me
image might not took right. Wait until the image bnghmess s[abilizes
before shooting.
If there is a very bright light source in the picture, such as the sun. the
brign[ area m ght be blackened on the LCD monitor. However. the ac[ual
cap[urea image will correctJy show the bright area.
If you set the [1'9; LCD brightness] to bright se :tings in low light,
cbromJnance noise may appear in the _ire View image. However. the
chromlnance noise will not be recorded _o the captured image
When you magnify the image, the image sharpness may lOOKmore
pronounced than it real _/is.
Under the [lfftl Custom Functions (C.Fn)] menu, setting [Auto Lighting
Optimizer] (p.156) to [0: EnabJe] may display a darkly-exposed (set with
exposure compensation) image brighter.
If the camera is not operated for a prolonged period, the power will turn
off automatically as set with [l'tt° Auto power off]. (p. 109) t [_9° Auto
