You can cut movies to remove unneeded portions at the beginning or end.
Movie Editing Panel
Choose _.
Following steps 1 - 5 on pp. 122 - 123,
choose _ and press the @button.
The movie editing panel and editing bar are
now displayed.

Specify portions to cut.
Press the ,_v buttons to choose _ or _ =
To view the portions you can cut (identified by
o_ on the screen), press the 4_ buttons to
move W=Cut the beginning of the movie (from
o_, ) by choosing _, and cut the end of the
movie by choosing _.
Even if you move W to a position other than a
o_ mark, choosing &_ wi!l only cut the
portion from the nearest o_& to the left, and
choosing _2_ will cut the portion from the
nearest ok_ to the right.
Review the edited movie.
Press the _'_ buttons to choose _, and
then press the @ button. The edited movie is
now played.
To edit the movie again, repeat step 2.
To cancel editing, press the Av buttons to
choose _D. Press the _,_ button, press the
4_ buttons to choose [OK], and then press
the @ button again.
