White horizontal lines appear in the printed image.
Cause
The print head nozzles are
clogged.
One of the ink cartridges is
low on ink.
The MicroWeave option in
your printer driver is off.
The Media Type setting on
the Main menu of the printer
driver is incorrect.
Vertical lines do not align.
Cause
The print head is misaligned.
The printing position is
misaligned.

Troubleshooting
What to do
Clean the print head. See "Cleaning
the Print Head" later in this chapter.
Check the control panel to confirm
that the or
ink out light is
flashing, and replace the appropriate
ink cartridge.
Turn on MicroWeave in your printer
driver's More Settings dialog box.
Make sure the Media Type setting
matches the type of paper loaded in
the printer. See page 3-12.
What to do
Align the print head with the Print
Head Alignment utility. See "Aligning
the Print Head" later in this chapter.
Make sure the High Speed option in
your printer driver's More Settings
dialog box is not selected.
