STORAGE
It is important
to prevent gun deposits from forming
in essential
fuel system
parts such as the carburetor,
fuel hose or fuel tank during storage. Also, experience
indicates that alcohol blended fuels (called gasohol or
using-ethanol
or methanol}
can attract moisture which
. lead_, to separation
and formation
of acids
during
storage. Acidic
gas can damage the fuel system'ofan
engine while in storage.
_To avoid engine
problems, the fuel system
should .be
" emptied
before storage of 30 days or !onger. Follow
these instructions.
1.
Drain the fuel tank. Start the engine, and let it run
Until the fuel lines and carburetor
are empty.

.warm) .and refill crankcase with fresh oil.

follows.
