GENERAL R ECOMMENDATIONS

operator abuseor negligence.To re-
calvefurlvalue fromthe warranty, t he
operator mustmaintain unitas instruct-
ed in thismanual. Variousadjustments
willneed to be madeperiodically to
properly maintain your unit.
• Once a year, replacethe sparkplug,
airfilter element,and checkguidebar
and chainfor wear. A newspark plug
and air filterelementassuresproper
air*fuel mixture and helpsyourengine
runbetterand last longer.
WARNING: Disconnectthe spark plug
beforeperformingrnslntenance except
for carburetor adjustments.

• Turn adjusting screwclockwise until
