ed in thismanual. Variousadjustments
willneed to be madeperiodically to
properly maintain your unit.
• Once a year, replacethe sparkplug,
airfilter element,and checkguidebar
and chainfor wear. A newspark plug
and air filterelementassuresproper
air*fuel mixture and helpsyourengine
runbetterand last longer.
WARNING: Disconnectthe spark plug
beforeperformingrnslntenance except
for carburetor adjustments.

fingertightagainstthebar clamp.
• Turn adjusting screwclockwise until
chainbarelytouchesthe bottomof
guidebar.
• Rollchainaround guide bar toensure
all linksare In bar groove.

wise, Repeat thisstep untilsagdoes

• While lifting tip ofguide bar,tighten
bar clampnutswiththe chainadjust-
menttool.Torqueto 10-15 ft-lbs,
