Solution
Use the procedure in Setting the DNS Domain
Name and Address
on page 94
If you have already performed this procedure,
make sure you can use NS lookup on the DNS
server to get the default domain.
Use the procedure in Setting Up SNMP
Community Strings
on page 91
SNMP community string and specify a target for
SNMP traps.
If you have already performed this procedure,
enter the snmp show all command to check the
SNMP settings.
Use the traceroute and ping commands to
verify that the X-Pedition can reach the SNMP
management station.
Create and add an IP or IPX interface for the
host. See the Enterasys X-Pedition User
Reference for information.
