SETTING THE TIME AND DATE continued
4. The month flashes; using the numeric keypad, enter the month as two
digits; if it's already set, press ENTER.
5. The day of the week flashes; using the numeric keypad, enter the day
of the week; if it's already set, press ENTER.

SETTING THE ALARM

The time, volume, length of time the alarm activates and method that
the alarm activates can be set.
The alarm can activate three ways:
• By turning on a radio station.
• By turning on a radio station and recording it.
• By playing from an SD/MMC card or flash memory.
See below for instructions to set the alarms.
NOTE: Setting the alarm requires that you work fast or the system will
exit the alarm setting mode. If a button isn't pressed within 10 seconds,
it will exit the setting mode. If it exits, simply start over.
SETTING ALARM BY TURNING ON A RADIO
STATION
1. With the radio turned off press ENTER, then press the FM button.
flashes in the top of the display.
2. Enter the alarm time with the numeric keypad or press ENTER if you
wish to use the existing alarm time. The display shows the frequency.
3. Press FM, MW(AM) or SW and enter the frequency with the numeric
keypad, then press ENTER. Or press ENTER if you wish to use the
existing frequency. Note that the volume appears in the right side of
the display.
