    WORLD RECORDER MANUAL SETTING THE SENSITIVITY SWITCH On the left side of the E4 is the sensitivity switch. There are three posi- tion, DX, NOR and LO. Always start with the DX position, as this gives maximum sensitivity. If the station is extremely strong use the NOR or LO position, the position with the least sensitivity.

    WORLD RECORDER MANUAL DISPLAY LIGHT The display light illuminates any time a button is pressed and the raio is not locked. EXTERNAL ANTENNA SOCKET The external antenna socket is used to connect the G4 to external FM antennas and advanced performance shortwave antennas using a 50 or 75-Ohm coaxial cable feed-line or to a long wire antenna.

    WORLD RECORDER MANUAL USING THE LOCK FEATURE With the E4 turned on or off, a one-second press of the lock button (under the M button) locks the buttons, preventing turn-on or pressing of the other buttons. A key symbol appears in the display. Deactivate it with a one-second press of the LOCK button.

Nickel-Metall- hydrid-Akkus) verwenden. Niemals Batterien unterschiedlicher Marken oder unterschiedlichen Typs einlegen. Niemals neue und alte Batterien gemeinsam verwenden.

    WORLD RECORDER BETRIEB HANDBUCH EINSTELLEN DES 3-STUFIGEN ABSCHWÄCHERS Auf der linken Seite des Geräts befindet sich ein 3-stufiger Abschwächer mit den Einstellpositionen DX-NOR-LO. DX bietet größte Empfindlichkeit und sollte als Standardeinstellung gewählt werden. Die Empfangsqualität von sehr starken Sendern kann unter NOR oder LO verbessert werden. Es gilt, die Position zu wählen, unter der der Klang am besten ist.

Kurzwelle lässt sich durchgängig in einem Bereich von 3 – 30 MHz eingeben. Zur Eingabe eines KW-Senders ENTER drücken und die Frequenzangabe in MHz eingeben.

SETTING THE ALARM Als Weckfunktionen lassen sich Weckzeit, Lautstärke und Dauer des Alarms und Aktivierungsweise einstellen.

Mit den Lautstärketasten die beim Wecken gewünschte Lautstärke einstellen und diese bzw. die bereits eingestellte Lautstärke durch ENTER bestätigen. Im Display wird der Timer angezeigt. 5. Über den Ziffernblock die Minutenzahl (00-99 min) eingeben, nach der sich der Alarm automatisch ausstellt.

Warten Sie, bis der Wechsel abgeschlossen ist, bevor Sie neue Funktionen betätigen. Die POWER-Taste drücken, bis sich das Gerät einschaltet. Durch kurzes Drücken der POWER-Taste kann der MP3-Modus angewählt werden, wenn diese nicht bereits eingestellt ist.

Beim Hören mit Kopfhörern sollten Sie STEREO wählen. Aber auch ohne Kopfhörer können Sie die Einstellung auf STEREO beibehalten. Bei schlechtem UKW-Empfang kann der Wechsel zu MONO die Qualität verbessern.
