mustbe kepttightto ensurethat thevehicleis in safe operating condition.
The enginemustbe keptfree of all dirt and otheraccumulations, p aying
particularattentionto throttlelinkagearea.

Prevailing-Torque-type Iocknutslosetheir lockingcapabilitywith repeated
useand requirereplacement. E nsureIocknutsarefunctioning properly.

Thetire pressureshouldbe checkedpriorto eachuse.The recom-
mendedinflationpressureisthe maximum tire pressure as printedon the tire's
sidewall.IMPROPER TIREPRESSURE MAYCAUSEINSTABILITY AND MAY
PREVENTPROPER BRAKINGOR
STEERING.

Modifications of thisvehicleor removalof anyoriginalequipmentor
safetydecal may renderthevehicleunsafeor illegal.NEVERREMOVE ANY
PROTECTIVE GUARDSOR BELTGUARDS.Thesecoversare for operator/
passenger's protection. I f any guardsareremovedfor maintenance or
servicingof thevehicle,ensurethattheyare securedin place priorto
operatingthevehicle.
