The [Printer List] appears.

From the list of printers, select a printer that is automatically recognized by plug-and-play,
and then delete it. Click [ ].
The confirmation screen appears.

Click [OK].

Click [ ].
The add printer screen appears.
Under Mac OS X 10.3.x - 10.4.x, click [Add Printer...] on the [Printers] menu or [Add] on the toolbar.
The [Printer Browser] appears.

On the add printer screen, click [Default], and then make sure [Kind] is set to [USB].
The name of the printer connected to the USB port appears.
Under Mac OS X 10.3.x - 10.4.x, make sure [Connection] is set to [USB].

Select the name of the printer you want to use.

Make sure the product name appears in the [Printer Name] field, and then click [Add].
8.
If you want to use the bypass tray, select options in the [Installable Options] dialog box,
and then select [Continue].
9.
The name of the registered printer appears in [Print & Fax].
Under Mac OS X 10.3.x - 10.4.x, the name of the registered printer appears in [Printer List].
10.
On the [System Preferences] menu, click [Quit System Preferences].
The [System Preferences] closes.
Under Mac OS X 10.3.x - 10.4.x, click [Quit Printer Setup Utility] on the [Printer Setup Utility] menu.
The [Printer Setup Utility] closes.
• If you use a printer that has been automatically recognized by plug-and-play, the driver screens may
be displayed in English due to the specifications of the Mac OS X. To display the driver screens
properly, delete the printer once from the list of printers.
• To make fine adjustments to print quality, set [Adjust Color Density...] before using the printer.
• For details about setting [Adjust Color Density...], see the printer driver Help.
Using the Printer via Network Connection from a Macintosh
Note that the GX e2600 cannot be connected to networks.
