There are two ways to connect a power source.
- Using the AC power adaptor and DC Cable: used for indoor recording.
- Using the Battery Pack: used for outdoor recording.
Connect the AC power adaptor to a wall socket.
Note: The plug and wall socket type may be different
from one country to another.
2. Connect the DC Cable to jack of the AC Power Adaptor.
3. Connect the other end of the DC Cable to the camcorder.
4. To set the camcorder to the CAMERAmode.
a. Hold down the tab of the switch and push
the switch to the CAMERA position.
b.Set the LOCK/STANDBY switch to STANDBY.
c. Make sure that the Lens Cap is open.
(On models SCA35/A85the LensCap opens
automaticallywhen you set the power
switchto the CAMERA position).
d.Make sure that the image appears
in the viewfinder.
Note: If the adaptor is used next to a TV or the camcorder,
it may cause the TV or camcorder to emit noise-move
the adaptor away from the TV, camcorder or
the antenna cable.
