Introduction

The display can still be opened when it has been tilted. When closed again, it
will return to its tilted position.
●
If the display is in an adjusted angle position when the vehicle ignition is turned
ATTENTION
off, the display will automatically return to its original position (0°). If the ignition
switch is then turned to ACC or ON, the display will resume the adjusted angle
position.
●
Be careful not to pinch your fingers or other objects when adjusting the angle of
the display. This could cause an injury or damage to the display.
●
Do not insert discs into the gap created at the top of the unit when the display is

tilted. Otherwise, the media or unit may be damaged.

Observe the following cautions when adjusting the angle of the display.
<Automatic transmission vehicles>
When setting the tilt position, choose an angle that does not interfere with opera-
tion of the shift lever in the "P", "R" or "N" lever positions. (If there is interference
with the shift lever in these operating positions, do not set a tilt position.)
<Manual transmission vehicles>
