Replacing the battery

Keep batteries out of reach of children. If a child should accidentally swallow a
battery, consult a physician immediately.
●Do not attempt to recharge dry-cell batteries. Doing so may cause the battery to
rupture and result in an injury.
●Do not use battery types other than specified or mix new and old batteries. Doing
so may result battery rupture or leakage of contaminants, and could cause injury.
●Pay close attention when inserting the battery to ensure that the positive and
negative terminals are aligned correctly. Incorrect placement could result battery
rupture or leakage of contaminants, and could cause injury.
●Replace worn batteries immediately. Worn batteries could leak contaminants
onto the surrounding area.
●When disposing of lithium dry-cell batteries, cover the positive and negative
terminals with electrical tape or another insulating substance and follow your
local regulations for disposal. Disposing lithium batteries along with metal or
other conductive materials could result in a short, causing a fire or explosion.
●Do not cause a battery short by heating or disassembling a battery, or exposing it
to fire or water. Battery rupture or leakage could result, causing a fire and/or
injury.
