Problem Documents

To ensure the quality of your copies and the faxes you are sending, follow these
guidelines:
• Make sure any glue, ink, or correction fluid on the document is completely dry
before placing the document on the platen glass or loading it into the ADF.
• Remove all fasteners (such as staples or paper clips) before loading the
document into the ADF.
• To prevent document jams in the ADF, do not use any of the following:
Wrinkled or
Creased Paper
Carbon Paper or
Carbon-backed Paper
Curled or Rolled
Paper
Coated Paper
Torn Paper
Onion Skin or
Thin Paper
Acceptable Originals
