4. Changing the displayed parameter value
Press the "+" key.
The parameter value is increased or switched on.
Press the "-" key.
The parameter value is decreased or switched off.
5. Saving a changed parameter value
Press the "E" key.
The changed parameter value is saved.
The next technician-level parameter appears in the display.
Repeatedly pressing the "E" key successively displays all
technician-level parameters
or
Press the "P" key.
The changed parameter is saved.
Select a new parameter as described under point 3.
6. Leaving programming mode
Press the "P" key twice.
Programming is terminated.
IMPORTANT
The changed parameter values are not saved until a seam is begun by
depressing the pedal.
If the sewing machine is switched off immediately after programming
without sewing, then none of the changed parameter values is saved.
RESET restores all settings to their factory-set values.
Turn off the main switch.
Press and hold down the "P" key.
Turn on the main switch.
"C-0000" appears in the display.
Enter the code number "5913" with the number keys and press the
"E" key.
"F-400" appears in the display. The "4" digit flashes.
Press the "E" key.
"F-400" and "rst 093" appear in the display.
Press the "+" key.
"F-400" and "rst 094" appear in the display.
Press the "E" key.
The same text appears in the display as when the sewing machine
is switched on.
The parameters are restored to their factory settings.
IMPORTANT
Certain parameters such as "F-170" (reference position), "F-171"
(needle position) and "F-161" (direction of motor rotation) are not
restored by a RESET.
The specially-set parameter values (among them motor-speed
settings) must be checked and corrected if necessary.
