thoroughly and follow all warnings or cautions attached to

the unit. Consult local building codes and appropriate
national electrical codes (in USA, ANSI/NFPA70,

National Electrical Code (NEC); in Canada, CSA C22.1)
for special requirements.
It is important to recognize safety information. This is the

    INSTALLATION Do not install unit in an indoor location. Do not locate air inlets near exhaust vents or other sources of contaminated Jobsite Survey air.   • Page 17 Smoke Detectors — Smoke detectors are available as factory- - installed options on 551J models. Smoke detectors may be specified for Supply Air only or for Return Air without or with economizer or in combination of Supply Air and Return Air.

A rapid change in environmental conditions, such as smoke from a fire, causes the sensor to signal an alarm state but dust and debris accumulated over time Controller module does not.
