3.2.11 Cutter Sensor Circuit

Fig. 3.2-14 shows the cutter sensor circuit.
When the cutter is opened, the movable blade activates the cutter sensor actuator which presses
the cutter sensor switch to close the switch contact.
If the cutter motor is driven, the linked movable blade moves to cut tape, releasing the cutter
sensor to open the switch contact. The CPU continues to run the cutter motor until the switch
contact closes again.

3.2.12 Oscillator Circuit

Fig. 3.2-15 shows the oscillator circuit. It generates 20 MHz source which acts as a CPU basic
clock.
