Valet Mode: When your system is placed into valet mode, the
optional starter defeat, passive starter defeat, panic feature,
passenger unlock feature, horn output, and flashing parking light
output will be disabled.To put your system into valet mode, turn the
ignition on and hold the override/valet switch for five seconds. The
horn will chirp once (if installed) and the LED will turn on solid to
confirm valet mode.To exit valet mode, repeat the same procedure.
The horn will chirp twice and the LED will turn off to confirm valet
mode exit.
Code Learning Mode: Your system can learn up to three remote
transmitters. To add or replace a transmitter: turn the ignition on,
off, on, off, and on (leave in the on position). The siren will chirp
once (if installed), the LED and parking lights will flash once. Press
and hold the valet/override switch for two seconds. The siren will
chirp three times, the parking lights and LED will flash three times.
Within five seconds press button 1 on each remote transmitter.The
LED and parking lights will flash after each transmitter is learned,
then turn off the ignition. Note: You must have all desired
transmitters during the code learning mode; all previous remotes
will be erased.
LED Status Modes:
Armed = Slow flash
Disarmed = Off
Passive Starter Defeat Engaged = Double flash
Valet Mode Engaged = Solid
