ENGINE OIL LEVEL
Inspection:
With the snow thrower on a level surface, remove the oil filler gauge.
If the level is low, add the recommended
oil (see below) to the "upper" mark on the
level gauge. Do not overfill; excess oil will result in power loss and smoking.

Engine oil is a major factor affecting
engine performance
and service life. Non-
detergent or vegetable oils are not recommended.

Running the engine with insufficient
oil can cause serious engine damage.
Use
HONDA
4-stroke,
or an equivalent
high detergent,
premium
quality motor oil
certified
to meet or exceed U.S.. automobile
manufacturers'
requirements
for service
classification
SE. (Motor oils classified SE will show this designation
on the container.)
SAE 5 W-30 is recommended
for general, all-temperature
use. If single viscosity oil
is used, select the appropriate
viscosity for fhe average temperature
in your area.
