    Secondary oven function selector and thermostat control knob o Use this control knob to select the oven function and turn on the oven light in the secondary oven. Hob control knobs o Use these control knobs to light and control the hob burners. Fry top control knob o Use this control knob to control the power of the fry top.

    Before first use o To remove any residue from the oven cavities that may have been left from the manufacturing process, you should select the fan oven function for the main oven and the conventional oven function for the secondary oven. Separately set each oven to its maximum temperature setting.

    Setting the duration function (main oven only) This function will allow you to set a countdown time similar to the minute minder function. However the oven will no longer continue to heat, once the countdown period has elapsed. o Use the main oven function selector control knob to select the cooking function that you require and the main oven thermostat control knob to set the temperature that you want to cook at.

    Setting the end cook function (main oven only) This function is similar to the duration function, however instead of selecting a period of time that you wish the oven to switch off after. You select the time of day that you wish the oven to switch off at.

    Setting the start and end time function (main oven only) This function will allow you to set a time in the future that the oven switches on at and a time that the oven will switch off at. o Use the main oven function selector control knob to select the cooking function that you require and the main oven thermostat control knob to set the temperature that you want to cook at.

    Cancelling an automatic cooking function If an automatic cooking function has been set and you wish to use the oven in manual operation mode, you will need to cancel the automatic cooking function. o To select manual operation mode, press the duration and cooking end time buttons simultaneously.

    There are eight cooking functions available on your appliance: FAN AND LOWER ELEMENT: This method of cooking utilises the bottom element in conjunction with the fan, which helps to circulate the heat. This function is suitable for sterilising and preserving jars. FAN AND GRILL: This method of cooking utilises the top element in conjunction with the fan, which helps to provide a quick circulation of heat.

    Main oven thermostat control knob The oven thermostat control knob should be turned clockwise and it sets the required temperature of the oven. It is possible to regulate the temperature within a range of 50 - 250°C. Secondary oven function and thermostat control knob If you turn the control knob anti clockwise, it will automatically select the oven light function first.

    Using and assembling the rotisserie o You can use the rotisserie in the main and secondary oven. o Place the food on the spit (L); making sure that it is placed centrally between the two forks (F). Otherwise excess strain will be placed on the motor (R).

    o When you have finished cooking, switch off the rotisserie by using the relevant rotisserie ON/OFF button. Turn the relevant oven function selector and thermostat control knob to their off positions. IMPORTANT: You should do this, prior to attempting to remove the spit (L). Cooking guidelines o Please refer to the information given on food packaging for guidance on cooking temperatures and times.

    Warnings o Keep the oven door closed when using any of the grill functions, apart from when using the rotisserie. o Do not use aluminium foil to cover the grill pan or heat items wrapped in aluminium foil under the grill. The high reflectivity of the foil could potentially damage the grill element.

    o Never select a knob position between the maximum and off position. Automatic electric ignition To ignite a burner: o Press in the control knob of the burner that you wish to light and turn it clockwise to the maximum position. o If you keep the control knob depressed, the automatic ignition for the burner will operate.

    The fry top burner o The control knob opposite should be used to control the fry top burner. o The minimum setting is at the end of the anti-clockwise rotation of the control knob. o All operation positions must be selected between the maximum and minimum positions.

    Any damage that is caused to the appliance by a cleaning product will not be fixed by Baumatic free of charge, even if the appliance is within the guarantee period.

    Cleaning the hob burners The hob burners should be cleaned once a week or more frequently if they get soiled. o Remove the hob burners by pulling them upwards and away from the hob top. o Soak them for about ten minutes in hot water and a little detergent.

    Removing the oven door for cleaning o Open the oven door fully. o The hinges (A) are provided with two movable hooks (B). o Rotate the hooks into the slot (C). o You should grip the sides of the door at the centre and then incline it slightly towards the oven cavity and then by pulling it gently away from the oven cavity.

    Installation The installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified person, in accordance with the current version of the following. o UK Regulations and Safety Standards or their European Norm Replacements. o Building Regulations (issued by the Department of the Environment).

    Gas connection ALL INSTALLATION AND SERVICE WORK MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY A CORGI REGISTERED ENGINEER. o Prior to installation, ensure that the gas supply conditions (nature of the gas and gas pressure) and the adjustment conditions are compatible. The adjustment conditions for this appliance are stated on the rating plate which can be found on the back cover.
