Configuring the Screen Lock Settings
After an unlock pattern, PIN, or password is created,
additional options are available in the Location &
security menu.
To hide the unlock drawing pattern:
1.
Press
Home
> Menu

Clear the
Use visible pattern
Clearing this option prevents the unlock pattern
from displaying on the unlock screen.
To vibrate the screen when you draw the pattern:
1.

To hide passwords as you type them:

What to do if you have forgotten your pattern:
If you fail to draw the correct unlock pattern on the
screen, or enter the correct PIN or password after five
attempts, you are prompted to wait for 30 seconds
before you can try again.
If you have forgotten your screen unlock pattern,
tap the
Forgot pattern?
Sign in using your Google Account name and
password, and create a new screen unlock pattern
before regaining access to the Home screen.
