    INSTALLATION LOCATION In roof top installation, as in all installations, the air conditioner must be level from side to side.     For improved start up performance, wash the indoor coil with dishwasher detergent. TOPPING OFF SYSTEM CHARGE If a leak has occurred in the system, Bard Manufacturing recommends reclaiming, evacuating (see criteria above), and charging to the nameplate charge. Topping off the system charge can be done without problems.
