4 Loosen the two thumbscrews on the right side
panel, and if removing both side panels,
loosen the two flat screws on the left side
panel. The first time you loosen the
thumbscrews you may need a flathead
screwdriver. (Thumbscrews do not detach;
they'll stay on the panel loosely until you
tighten them again.) Use a flathead
screwdriver to remove the two screws on the
left side panel.
5 Stand behind the computer, and place one
hand on top of the chassis.
6 Grasp the handle of the right side panel (A) or
press the side of the left panel with your other
hand and pull the panel toward you until it
stops.
7 Facing the side panel to be removed, pull the
top of the panel out toward you.
8 Lift the panel up and out. Set the panel aside.
