User Manual
IP Address – This is the IP address that you want to
assign to the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini.
Subnet Mask – This is the subnet mask that is as-
sociated with the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini's assigned
IP address.
Default Gateway – This is the default IP address of
the Gateway that is available for the specified network.
DNS Server – This is the IP address of the DNS serv-
er which handles the routing and resolution of names.
JumboFrame Size - The Ethernet Disk mini sup-
ports frame (i.e. packets) sizes larger than 1500 bytes on
the Gigabit Ethernet interface. JumboFrame capability
extends supported frame size to 9000 bytes (9KB). In
general, the higher the frame size, the better the network
performance.
