Creating CDs from DSD projects
The following specifications have been changed in Version 2.0.

The following bugs have been fixed maintenance has been done in Version 2.0.
During synchronized recording, if the source sent only a signal to the R channel, synchronized recording did not start. This has been
fixed in Version 2.0.
When restructuring a play list, new files added to the play list were not in alphabetical order. This has been fixed in Version 2.0.
Sometimes the power could not be turned off in record ready mode. This has been fixed in Version 2.0.
Explanation of new functions features
AIFF file reading
Previously only WAV files were recognized during play list restructuring.
In Version 2.0, AIFF files are also recognized and can be added to play lists.
AIFF files can be imported just like WAV files (see page 60 of the Owner s Manual).
NOTE
AIFF files are converted into WAV files.
Reading AIFF files takes time (about 40 seconds for a 5-minute, 44.1-kHz, 24-bit file).
A file is not recognized if its sampling frequency or quantization bit rate differs from that of the project.
Creating CDs from DSD projects
Previously when creating a CD-DA from projects on the unit s hard disk, only 44.1 kHz projects could be chosen.
In Version 2.0, DSD projects can also be chosen.
Otherwise, the function for creating an audio CD has not changed and can be used as before (see page 52 of the Owner s Manual).
NOTE
The actual file time is necessary to convert a DSD project to CD-DA (not including the amount of time to write it to the CD-DA).
The data converted from DSD to PCM is stored on the HD during the process. If there is not enough open space on the HD, you will
not be able to select DSD files that are too large.
The input monitor cannot be used during conversion.
CAUTION
Once DSD to PCM conversion starts, the unit's master clock is automatically set to "INTERNAL" and the sampling frequency is set
to 44.1 kHz. As a result, the unit can not receive an external clock and also can not provide a word clock other than 44.1 kHz to an
external device. Use caution when using digital synchronization with an external device.
During the conversion, a very short fade is added to the beginnings and ends of files. This is to prevent any pop noise being heard
between tracks, caused by the nature of the DSD process. For this reason, tracks that sounded continuous (gapless) before will
have gaps between them after conversion.
