Page 16: Preparations Before Starting A Job
Preparation before starting a job Before using the machine, be sure to complete the following preparations. Installing a ground fault circuit interrupter. (GFCI) To prevent electrical shocks, be sure to install a ground fault circuit interrupt or between the main power supply and the cord of the machine. -

Make sure that the switch is off. If you plug in the power cord without realizing that the switch is on, the machine will start, and may cause an accident. When the switch lever (see “Part names”) is tilted toward the ON label, the machine is turned on. When it is tilted toward the OFF label, the machine is turned off. - Page 18 1.
