Connecting to a CF Card Reader or PC Card Reader

If you have a CF card reader, you can download images directly to a computer by
placing the camera's CF card in a reader connected to the computer. If your computer
has a PC card slot or a PC card reader connected, remove the CF card from the
camera and insert it into a PC card adapter (PCMCIA adapter) before placing it into
the card slot on the computer or reader.

Remove the CF card from the camera and, if required, insert it into a PC
card adapter.

Place the card in the CF card reader or the loaded adapter into the card
slot on the computer or PC card reader.
• Since the requirement for the power to be on or off varies widely between
computers and card readers, please refer to your computer or card reader
manual before attempting this step.
